Registered Nurse - Stepdown (PCU)

Location: Hazard, Kentucky Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel/Contract Unit: 34-bed Stepdown/PCU Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 (ratios can fluctuate with census and call-ins) Shift: Night, 19:00-7:30. Options are 3x12 or 4x12 hours. Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week Schedule: 36/48 hours for the two-week pay period unless noted otherwise on the job order

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Stepdown experience (2 years)
Stepdown experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
BLS issued by the American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Driver's license

Scheduling and Job Requirements

Float required within scope of practice
Every other weekend required
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Orientation is bi-weekly
Start date is fixed as stated on the job
Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of the offer
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility. Local candidates are not accepted.
Do not submit a candidate to more than one job at a time
