Registered Nurse: Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool

Location: Hagerstown, Maryland Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts (18:30 to 07:00), 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week

Role Details

Float pool position: the traveler will be floated from Med/Surg units to IMC units.
Must be comfortable with 1:4 to 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios.
Patients may include those with acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma.
Not open to first-time travelers.
Not open to local candidates.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maryland
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
One completed travel assignment
Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Experience in a hospital setting
PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience of 1 year
PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or United States Department of Defense
Experience with Epic
