Overview

• Specialty: Emergency Room Registered Nurse

• Shift: Day, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 12 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of staff ER experience or 2+ years of travel ER experience
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Certification
• 2 professional references, including at least 1 supervisor, from within the last 12 months
• Comfortable and willing to float within scope of practice
• Epic experience

Preferred

• Trauma Level I
• CPI or MAB
• TNCC

Work Expectations

• Orientation is not provided
• Must be able to start working independently quickly
• May be removed from the pool after 2 shift cancellations within 24 hours of start time in a 30-day period
• Navy blue scrubs required

Additional Notes

• Candidates with 2 or more attendance/performance issues or clinician pipeline cancellations may need additional references or a written statement before proceeding
• There must be at least 6 months between the last issue and the submission date
• Previous staff/travel candidates require facility approval after an 18-month separation period
• Pre-start modules: 8 hours
