Overview
- Travel/Contract RN assignment in Columbus, Ohio.
- Based in the Ohio State Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital.
- 36 hours per week on 3x12 shifts.
- Shift options: Night 19:00–7:30 or Day 7:00–19:30.
- Weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
- Estimated patient ratio: 1:1–2.
- Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- CVICU experience within the last year
- 1 year of CVICU experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- IV start capability
- Mechanical ventilator management
- Swan-Ganz catheter management
- Conscious sedation administration
- Intra-aortic balloon pump operation
- Pulmonary artery line management
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Previous travel experience.
