Temp Radiation Therapist - Oncology (Days)

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa Employment Type: Temporary Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days, 8 hours per day

Role Description

• As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care.

Schedule

• NBO: 16 hours
• Orientation: Every Monday
• Winter holidays: Traveler must work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiation Therapist license in Iowa
• Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of radiation therapy experience
• Radiation therapy experience within the last year
• Active ARRT certification

Eligibility Restrictions

• Former FTE or PRN employees of the organization's float pool must have been gone at least 1 year to return as a traveler.
• Past employees who worked travel for the organization cannot work travel in the same market, regardless of their current or past facility within the last 12 months. This policy does not apply to those who worked travel there (not FTE or PRN).
• Local candidates are not accepted. Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility, verified by a driver's license and proof of taxable address.

Required Documents

• Work history/resume, with all gaps over 30 days clearly explained
• Skills checklist specific to radiation therapy
• One supervisory reference completed within the last 24 months
• License verification dated less than 30 days old
• Proof of taxable address (must be 50 miles from the facility)
