Registered Nurse IMC

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 12 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (19:00 to 07:30) Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend Unit: IMC, 34 total staffed beds

Unit Focus

• Bariatric Surgery
• Stroke
• Acute Respiratory Failure
• Fall
• Aneurysm
• Encephalopathy

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience: 2 years
• PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Current, valid driver's license or state-issued ID
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross; e-cards accepted; must be current at submission, required for IMC
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross, required for all positions
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, updated annually, required for IMC

Orientation and Scheduling

• Patient Care Orientation Class (Skills) required for all RNs
• Facility EHR class required if the candidate has not used the system within 6 months
• Facility modules completed onsite
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs
• May float to sister facilities in the system
• Does not accept block schedule accommodations
• Does not accept local candidates (75-mile radius rule)
• Does not accept first-time travelers
• Does not accept pending state licenses
• Time off requests: no more than 5 days accepted, with no holidays
