Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: Huntington, West Virginia (393-bed hospital) Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

2-12 hour and 2-8 hour shifts
Day shift (4x10 hours), 7:00 to 19:15
Available shift times: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 7a-3p, 3p-11p
Weekend shifts available
No call
Block scheduling not approved by the manager
40 hours per week

Role Details

Role: Operating Room
Scrub: Preferred
Circulate: Required
Service lines: The facility provides multiple services, including Trauma. Candidates should be able to work across areas including CVT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, and ENT, among others.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in West Virginia
OR circulate experience: 1 year, including circulating experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Ability to function in CVT surgery
Ability to function in Neurosurgery
Ability to function in Orthopedics
Ability to function in Cataracts
Ability to function in ENT

Preferred

Scrub experience
Initial COVID-19 vaccine series (seasonal vaccine required; candidates declining it must complete a declination form)
Signed HIPAA form (for subcontractors)
