Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Anchorage, Alaska
- Day shift, 4x10 hours
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Guaranteed hours: up to 36 per week
- On-call required
- Floating within scope may be required
- Weekend coverage required every Saturday or Sunday
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Robotic surgery experience
- Code response experience
- Malignant hypothermia management
- Electrosurgical equipment operation
- Arthroscope experience
- Laparoscope experience
- Trauma experience
Schedule Notes
- Shift times may vary between 06:45–17:15 and 08:45–19:15
- Third shift weekends may be variable
- No contract changes or additional RTO after signing
- Local candidates are not accepted within 100 miles
- Pending license not accepted

About
Anchorage is a unique city surrounded by 5,000-foot-high peaks in the south-central part of Alaska along the Cook Inlet, where abundant salmon and whales swim through. It's filled with cultural sites, including many museums and the Alaska Native Heritage Center, which offers stage performances and displays traditional crafts and replicas of dwellings from indigenous groups in the area. Top-notch eateries serving dishes with locally grown produce and fresh seafood abound, while the two roads running in and out of town lead to some of the world's most majestic wilderness areas.
