ICU Nurse

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
• Night shift: alternating 3x12 and 4x12 schedules, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• May float to IMCU/stepdown if needed
• Video interview may be required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills

References

• 2 supervisor references within 1 year
• One reference must be from the most recent/current assignment
• One reference must be from the second most recent assignment
• Can be submitted with one reference initially

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

• 7-year background check
• Wisconsin caregiver screening
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Drug screen within 14 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Confidentiality statement
• Badge photo

Additional Notes

• Annual renewal is required for NIH Stroke Certification
• Flu vaccine onsite may involve out-of-pocket costs
