Overview

• Location: Enumclaw, Washington (Critical Access Hospital)
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a, 12:30p-1a), 36 hours/week
• Night schedule: 7p-7:30a (start time may flex)
• Process: Clinical profile review, then a manager call for the interview

Required Qualifications

• 2 full years of experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and Washington (WA) license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC

Float Scope

• Floating is not usually required, but travelers are first to float.
• Travelers are required to float within Region Two if needed, to other facilities in Lakewood, WA and Tacoma, WA.

Unit and Work Environment

• Unit: Emergency Department, 11 beds with 1 trauma bay
• Patient volume: 35 patients/day
• Ratio: 4:1
• Fast track: None
• Psych/seclusion rooms: None
• Charge nurse: Yes
• ED provider coverage: 1 ED provider, 24 hours/day
• Respiratory therapy: 24/7
• Pharmacy: Not 24/7; a house resource nurse and another facility cover after hours
• Lab draws: Phlebotomists
• IV team: Business hours only
• Ventilators: PB980s
• EMR: Epic
• Tele/monitor techs: None
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Yes

• Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks; expect 25+ hours.
