Role

Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical ICU.

Location

Reno, Nevada

Shift

3x12 nights, 18:45 - 07:15

Contract Length

13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours

36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nevada
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU (MICU) experience, with MICU experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS

Unit Details

8-bed Medical ICU
1 Critical Care Technician per shift
ICU Charge RN is also the Rapid Response RN
Set group of intensivists, rotate weeks, and on-call 24/7 during the week

Additional Job Details

No call requirements
May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level
May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays
Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
Subject to call off without penalty for low census, including full or partial shifts
