Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)
Location: Franklin, Tennessee Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: ASAP Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (19:00–07:00) Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Med Surg experience (2 years)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Background and Compliance
- Criminal background check within 60 days of start, covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school for the past 7 years. Instant searches not accepted. Must include SSN trace, counties, nationwide and national sex offender searches, education verification, and compliance BG review. All background hits must be sent to the facility for approval, including minor traffic offenses. A new check is required after a gap of more than 30 days between assignments.

Health Requirements
- TB: Negative QuantiFERON-Gold or 2-step PPD within 60 days of start, updated annually. T-SPOT not accepted. TB questionnaire required if past positive, updated annually.
- Physical exam: Within 1 year of start; does not need annual updates.
- Drug screen: Negative within 60 days of start (marijuana, cocaine, PCP, amphetamines, MDA, opiates, 6-AM heroin, oxycodone/oxymorphone). Does not need annual updates. A new screen is required after a gap of more than 30 days between assignments.
- Immunizations:
- Measles, mumps, rubella: 2 MMR vaccines or positive titer
- Hepatitis B: series, titer, or signed declination
- Varicella: 2 doses, positive titer, or history of chickenpox
- Influenza: vaccine or facility-specific declination required during flu season (10/1–3/31)
- COVID-19 (preferred): initial series if previously received
- Fit testing: Completed onsite during orientation
