Overview

• Travel/contract role in Hillsboro, Oregon
• Night shift: 3x12 or 4x12 available, 19:00–07:30
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Weekend work required
• Floating within the hospital required
• Locals accepted
• Pending Oregon license accepted if the application has been submitted and received by the licensing board
• First-time travelers not accepted
• No call required
• No block schedule accommodation
• RTO limit: 1 week max

Unit / Setting

• WCC cares for low to moderate risk laboring patients, antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and their newborns
• The unit has 2 triage rooms
• The role includes circulating and recovering C-sections from the OR suite and private rooms

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
• Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NRP
• AWHONN
• Newborn transition/baby nurse experience
• IV start experience
• Circulating experience in operating room
• Experience with Epic

• Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination documentation, or signed declination
• Varicella immunity or vaccination
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
• Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement
• TDAP declination if declining TDAP
• Respiratory questionnaire
• Vaccine declination/waiver form if declining HepB
• COVID exemption form if declining COVID vaccination
• Traveler network account information form
• Photo for badge
