CVOR RN

• Location: Long Beach, California
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Call: Call required, with weekend call and work rotation. Call is split and rotated separately for CVOR RNs. Currently 1 CVOR RN covers every night. Call response time is 30.
• Holidays: Yes

Required Qualifications

• 2 full years of experience
• Active BLS
• Active ACLS
• Active California license

Preferred

• Scrubbing (not required, but would be great)

Unit and Assignment Details

• Unit: CVOR, 1 suite, 2 cases per week
• Staffing ratio: 2 circulators per case
• Charge RN: Assigns the next day's work
• Scrubs: Provided
• Floating: First to float. Floats only within the OR to other specialties, and to the main OR.
• Orientation: About a week, or until comfortable
• Common case types: Straightforward CABG, AVR, MVR, thoracotomy
