Overview

Travel RN for General Surgery at a busy Level One Trauma Center
Floor/Unit: Nursing OR
Specialty: OR
Procedures include laryngoscopy, sinus surgery, facial plastics and trauma, cochlear implants, oral surgery, complex head and neck cancer surgery, tonsillectomy, and tympanoplasty
Patient ages range from pediatric to geriatric

Schedule

Shift: 7am-7:30pm (36) or 7am-5pm (40), with occasional weekends or call
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Weekend hours: 36 (unless otherwise noted)
Float requirements: Does not float

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Experience with the da Vinci surgical robot
Experience with emergency general surgery (EGS)
Experience with burn surgery
Experience with Whipple procedures
Experience with HIPEC
Dental surgery experience
ENT surgery experience
Plastic surgery experience
Pediatrics experience
