Assignment Overview

• Employment type: Travel
• Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin
• Contract length: 12 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Float requirements: None
• On-call/call-back requirements: None
• Weekends/holidays: Every 3rd weekend and a holiday rotation
• Orientation: Not guaranteed orientation week; 8 hours of unbillable orientation
• Billing week: Monday to Sunday
• Holidays: Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays when the unit is closed

Required Qualifications

• WI RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• AHA PALS
• ENPC and Sedation certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an ER RN
• Charting experience in Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• SANE trained
• NIHSS
• Previous travel experience

Unit Overview

• Level II trauma unit with RNs experienced in the ER
• Just over 40 beds: 35-bed ER (including 5 hallway beds) and a 10-bed UC
• Busy ED and tertiary care facility for rural hospitals in the area
• Not a burn center
• Serves all age ranges
• Patient ratio: 4 to 1 maximum
