Assignment Length

Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- 3+ years of experience
- Some critical care background
Preferred
- Familiarity with Cerner
Unit Details
- PACU
- 1:1 or 1:2 ratio if transitioning
- Main OR 8 beds; Pavilion 12 beds
Schedule
- 10-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week
Float Scope
- May float to ACU or prep area if skilled
Additional Notes
- Weekend, call, and holiday coverage are not required
- Floor-specific orientation with a preceptor is provided
- Scrub color is provided by the hospital
- Common patient types include post-operative patients after general anesthesia, including ortho, gyn, urology, ENT, general surgery, and cath lab patients
