Location: Anchorage, Alaska Facility type: Acute hospital; Magnet facility, Level II Trauma, USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska Total staffed beds: 407 Assignment: Travel/Contract, 13 weeks Start date: ASAP Hours: 4x10 day shifts, 7:00 to 17:00 (40 hours per week) Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks. The traveler can be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience with Epic
Additional Details
- Scope and float: May float within scope to EP or IR. Will be required to sign a float policy acknowledgment and may float to another facility within a reasonable distance.
- On-call: 1 day per week, plus the 4th and 5th weekends (Friday 18:00 to Monday 07:30)
- Weekends: On call, plus approximately 1 Saturday per month as part of the 4 scheduled shifts per week
- Schedule: Block scheduling is not accepted.
- Time off: Approved on an individual basis after offer. Only 1 time-off request per 13-week assignment.
- Local candidates: Not accepted. Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility.
