Unit: Medsurg Ortho
17 beds
Ratios: 1 to 5
Floating: to tele at 1 to 4 ratio and between MedSurg floors
First to float

Required Qualifications

Active BLS
Active California RN license
2-3 years of experience in the specialty
Previous travel experience
Must be able to read and interpret telemetry and take a dysrhythmia exam

Schedule Requirements

4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
Holidays worked into the permanent staff rotation

Clinical Setting

Common patient types include hips, knees, shoulders, and spine
No drips
No vents

Additional Notes

Holiday RTO will be considered, but not guaranteed
1 shift of orientation to the unit

Great hospital. Kind and friendly staff.

Cons

The cafeteria is a hit and miss. Some days they have great sea food with saffron rice! Some days microwaved food :D. But there is alwaaaaays, pizza available ;)
