Shift: Nights, 12 hours (7p-7a)

Required Qualifications

RN license: WA or Compact License
BLS certification
1 year experience
Telemetry experience

Unit Details

Patient mix includes CHF, COPD, PNA, General Surgical, and Medical Telemetry
Ratios: 1:4-6
Nurse aides: 1:8-16
Titration of drips: Yes
Common titratable/set-rate drips include Heparin, Blood, and IV fluids
Charge Nurse and House Supervisor are both present
Telemetry is monitored by Monitor Techs, and RNs validate and read strips
The unit has 16 beds telemetry capable

Schedule and Assignment Details

Weekend requirement is based on unit needs/demands
Holiday coverage will be needed for 2026
No call or standby requirement, except as needed per census
Floating is possible; all RNs are susceptible to floating within their scope
Orientation is 3 shifts, coordinated with onboarding
Scrub color/dress code: Navy top and bottom
