Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Atlanta, Georgia Shift: Day, 11a-11p Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Georgia
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatrics ER - Emergency Room experience (2 years), with experience within the last year
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric ED experience (highly preferred)
- TNCC (a strong plus)
Unit Information
- Beds: 36
- Ratio: 4:1
- Ventilators: Hamilton T1
- Common diagnoses: Sickle cell pain/fever, asthma, behavioral health, DKA, AGE, pediatric fever
- Drips and medications: Insulin and sedation drips, resuscitation medications, and all medications except chemotherapy
- Float scope: May be required to float to other campuses if needed
