Role details

• 1 year travel experience required
• 36 - 48 hour contracts acceptable
• Every other weekend required
• Required holidays per unit need

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Med Surg (1 year of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment
• Ascension Skills Checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually for specialty
• Resume or profile
• At least two professional references

Onboarding / compliance

• Color vision completed prior to start and updated every 3 years
• Core competencies completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years
• EKG exam with passing score of at least 80% and only two attempts permitted; update every 3 years
• Nursing contingent worker onboarding attestation
• Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
• Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules required before clearance and annually
• Cerner test-out with signed attestation
• Badge photo with forward-facing headshot on white or blue background
• COVID-19 vaccination documentation required; no declinations accepted
• MMR documentation required
• Fit test required for all travelers; updated annually
• Hepatitis B documentation or declination
• Influenza vaccine documentation; declinations accepted, but mask required at all times
• Health statement or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
• Driver’s license or state ID must be current and match address on file
• 2-step PPD or IGRA documentation
• Varicella documentation required; no declinations accepted
• Tdap valid for 10 years from administered date
• Criminal background check results
• EPLS
• OFAC
• Education verification relevant to clinical work
• Confirmation of assignment on agency letterhead
• Employment verification for the past seven years
• 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start and annually thereafter
