Registered Nurse – ER

Location: Rolla, Missouri (about 1.5 hours from Springfield, Columbia, and St. Louis) Contract Length: 13 weeks Employment Type: Travel/Contract

Schedule

Evening shifts, 3 x 12 hours (36 hours per week)
Shift times of 1 PM to 1 AM or 3 PM to 3 AM, rotating between the two
Weekend scheduling is included in assignments
Block scheduling requests will be accepted but cannot be guaranteed until the new schedule is posted; staffing must meet the posted schedules
Open to holiday RTO

Unit Details

30-bed ER, not a trauma facility
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1
24/7 STEMI and cath lab coverage
Wear solid scrubs of any color
Uses an electronic medical record system

Requirements

Valid RN license in Missouri
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) issued by American Heart Association
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

Orientation and Facility Documents

16 hours of non-billable orientation; up to 12 of those hours may be used to complete online modules
Sign the job description, review the parking policy, and complete the COVID-19 vaccination declaration
Facility orientation checklist is completed after start
