Cath Lab

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Call coverage: 1–2 call shifts during the week and 1–2 weekends per month.
• The Cath Lab provides scrubs and a lead apron for cases.
• Float required within scope of practice.
• Housing within 30 minutes is required for STEMI call.
• Locals are not accepted; candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky.
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year.
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• AHA BLS.
• AHA ACLS.
• NIH Stroke Certification.
• Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted.
• Medical and religious exemptions are reviewed case by case.
• 2 references within 1 year of start date; one may be a Charge RN, but the second must be from a supervisor or higher.
• 7-year work history verification.
• Complete application/resume with education and work history.
• Driver’s license / state ID.
• ARH coversheet.
• Assignment confirmation must be signed within 24 hours of offer.

Preferred

• IR experience.
• Previous travel experience.

Additional Compliance / Onboarding

• Orientation is bi-weekly.
• Start date is the start date needed.
• Required health and onboarding items include physical exam, negative TB or chest X-ray, Tdap, MMR immunity or vaccination, Hepatitis B status, Varicella immunity or vaccination, drug screening, fit mask, and required facility-specific forms and acknowledgements.
