ER RN - 12 hr Nights

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin Employment Type: Travel Contract Length: 12 weeks Start Date: ASAP

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week (not guaranteed during holidays when the unit is closed)
• Weekends/Holidays: Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
• Float Requirements: None
• On Call/Call Back: None

Unit Overview

• Level II trauma center with a busy ED
• Just over 40 beds: 35-bed ER (including 5 hallway beds) and a 10-bed urgent care
• Tertiary care facility for rural hospitals in the area
• Not a burn center
• Treats all age ranges
• Patient ratio: 4 to 1 maximum

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN License
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• AHA PALS
• ENPC certification
• Sedation certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an ER RN

Preferred Qualifications

• SANE trained
• NIHSS
• Previous travel experience

Orientation and Compliance

• Orientation week is not guaranteed.
• Candidate must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of an accepted offer, or within 24 hours for a quick start.
