LPN/LVN Rehab

Location: Chesterfield, Missouri Contract Length: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Openings: 1

Position Details

• Specialty: Rehab (Med/Surg)
• Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Units: Floors 1, 2, and G (Garden/Lower Level)
• Unit Size: 81 private rooms
• Patient Population: Adults age 18+
• Patient Ratios: Approximately 1:6-7 on day shift and 1:8 on night shift. Each nurse has a dedicated tech.
• Float Scope: May float within the hospital's 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Missouri
• 2 years of experience as an LPN / LVN
• LPN / LVN experience within the last year
• IV certification
• BLS certification

Facility Overview

The hospital is an inpatient rehabilitation facility serving patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, multiple trauma, cancer, and complex orthopedic injuries. Features include:

First Day Instructions

• Wear black scrubs and the ID badge provided by the agency.
• Report at 6:30.
• Ask for the Charge Nurse upon arrival.
• Parking is in the garage (upper level or back two rows of the lower level).
