Overview
- Travel/contract RN assignment in Columbus, Ohio
- Based in a mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 16 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Bone Marrow Transplant (1 year of experience)
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Feeding tube care and management
- Blood product administration
- Central line blood draw
- PICC line management
- Central line sterile dressing changes
- Chemotherapy administration
- Hematology / Oncology experience
- Med Surg experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Unit Details
- BMT (14 & 15W James)
- Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit
- Patient population includes ALL, adult AML, amyloidosis, aplastic anemia, chronic leukemia, CLL, CML, Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, myeloproliferative disorders, and Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
- Unit procedures include autologous transplants, syngeneic transplants, allogeneic transplants, and CAR-T therapy
Additional Notes
- 12D/N rotating contract may be scheduled for days, nights, or both depending on department needs
- Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period and changes are not guaranteed
