Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery

Location: Fountain Valley, California Employment Type: Travel/Contract Start: ASAP Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night, 3x12 hours (19:00 to 07:00) Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California.
Labor and Delivery experience of 1 year, completed within the last year.
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification, AWHONN Advanced level.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Experience with Epic.

Preferred

Hepatitis C: Titer strongly preferred. Declination is accepted if necessary, with a reason provided.

Onboarding and Documentation

Signed HIPAA acknowledgement.
Confidentiality agreement, completed within 72 hours of signing.
Signed unit-specific job description, orientation packet acknowledgment, and skills assessment.
Standard of Care: Skin Care attestation.
Epidural pain policy review, completed before start.
Medication dispensing system agreement (travel RNs), due 5 business days before orientation.
Facility orientation modules, completed on site or after activating the facility login.
TB symptom review, completed before start.
Traveler acknowledgement covering Joint Commission Readiness, Physician Rounding Clinical Update, and National Patient Safety Goals for Hospitals.
Sexual violence and sexual harassment policy review.
Wage Benefit Parity form for assignments booked under the applicable system profile. A new form is required for each new travel assignment, but not for extensions.
