Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Step Down Unit providing specialized care to patients requiring close monitoring after intensive care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of Step Down nursing experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification

- Attestations are generally not accepted except for fingerprinting pending status with proper documentation.
- Some requirements (e.g., background checks, OIG search, SAM clearance) only need to be completed upon initial hire, not annually.
- Skill checklists, competency exams, and core competencies are one-time requirements upon initial hire, not annual.
- Flu vaccine declination requires specific forms and mask-wearing while working.
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position.
This position is ideal for experienced RNs comfortable with step-down patient care and meeting comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
