Radiology Technician (IR Tech) - Traverse City, Michigan

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology Technician (Interventional Radiology Tech experienced in angio and neuro procedures)
• Shift: Days, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (5 shifts of 8 hours)
• Schedule: No weekends; 1 holiday depending on contract length
• On-Call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 3rd to 5th weekend depending on staffing
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital
• Equipment Experience: Siemens Biplane experience helpful
• Key Responsibilities: Sterile fluid preparation, assisting provider during procedures

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a program in radiology
• Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
• Active ARRT certification
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Required Onboarding Documentation and Compliance

• Proof of MMR vaccination or positive titer
• Proof of Varicella vaccination or positive titer (history not accepted)
• Negative TB test within last 6 months (T-spot, QuantiFERON, or 2-step skin test) or appropriate follow-up if positive
• Influenza vaccine required from November 1 through April 30 (medical/religious exemptions allowed with agency letterhead)
• Fit for Duty health statement completed within 1 year of start date
• Negative drug screen within 90 days prior to start
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Social Security Card (upload within 24 hours of offer acceptance)
• Completion of Core Competency Exam (OSHA & JC) at time of hire
• Completion of Skill Specific Competencies and Munson Skills Checklist - Self Assessment
• Criminal background check within 90 days (7-year national, including aliases, sex offender, FACIS Level 3; no pending counties)
• Education and employment verifications (minimum 2 employers over 2 years, third-party or agency verified)
• OIG, OFAC, and National Sex Offender searches within 90 days including all aliases
• Completed I-9 attestation
• Emergency contact form
• Signed healthcare system agreement (submit within 24 hours of offer acceptance)
• Parking form (to be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance for system access)

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
• No weekend shifts required except on-call rotation.
• The position is a Long-Term Assignment (LTA) lasting approximately 13 weeks.
