Overview

Travel/Contract RN role in New Haven, Connecticut
Start date: 10/16
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00
Hours per week: 36
First-timers accepted
Every other weekend required
On-call required: 2 four-hour blocks per 6-week schedule
Block scheduling is available
Guaranteed hours
RTO greater than 7 days requires approval

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
EKG competency exam
Color Blind Testing Online
Skills Checklist 1 within 12 months of start
References within 3 years of start
7-year work history with no gaps greater than 90 days
Employment verification for the last 7 years for start dates on/after 8/2/2024
Physical Exam within 12 months of start
TB Questionnaire
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
Drug Testing within 12 months of start
Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Tdap is highly preferred for Labor and Delivery, but not required
