Overview

• Role: PCU RN
• Location: Fishersville, Virginia
• Employment type: Travel/Contract

• Patient population: Adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems, including cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary, and more
• Shift: Day (3x12 Hours), 6:45–19:15
• Hours per week: 36
• Patient ratio: 1:5
• Weekend requirement: Every other Saturday; off every Sunday
• First-timers accepted: Yes
• Locals accepted: No; permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Virginia
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
