Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Portland, Oregon Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (6:45 to 17:15), 40 hours per week Schedule: Friday to Monday, starting after orientation Floating: Required, to an ambulatory location On-Call: Not required Weekends: Required First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oregon
- Operating Room experience: 1 year, including OR experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association (AHA provider only; traditional AHA or HeartCode Complete. Instructor certifications, annual RQI, and certificates of completion pending e-cards are not accepted.)
- Experience with Epic
Onboarding and Training
- Online modules completed before start (required to receive badge on day one):
- Information Privacy and Security Essentials (30 min)
- Integrity Foundations (25 min)
- Harassment Prevention Fundamentals
- Omnicell Nurse Patient Care Training
- Operating Room RNs are exempt from Glucometer 2026 and the Safe Vaccine Administration Module.
- Documents to review and sign: Professional Appearance Policy, Job Description, Coronavirus Protocol Attestation, and Vaccine Declination/Waiver Form (if declining immunizations)
- Available for compliance requirements through start date
