ER Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Pomona, California Contract Length: 13 weeks Facility Type: Acute care hospital, Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center, 412 staffed beds Unit: ER

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 to 7:00)
36 guaranteed hours per week; the client can cancel up to 3 shifts during the assignment
Weekend availability required
Not on call
Not open to block schedules
Will not float outside the ER scope

Requirements

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department experience (2 years)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
MAB - Management of Assaultive Behavior or CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
NIHSS

Other Details

Parking is free.
Scrubs: no specific color required, but no camouflage or character patterns.
Charting system: Cerner
Radiation badges for new prestarts are supplied by the client.

Management likes to micromanage and offload their own case load onto the Assistants. They also spy on you as you are working or documenting.
