Temp Technologist - Electrophysiology (Days)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Days Employment Type: Temp

Role Overview

• As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care.

Requirements

• Electrophysiology Technician experience (3 years)
• Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
• ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with cardiac patients
• Experience with cardiac ablation
• Experience with CRM (cardiac rhythm management)
• Experience with LAAO (left atrial appendage occlusion)
• Siemens equipment experience
• Valid driver's license

Schedule and Hours

• 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
• Up to 48 hours per week, with overtime billable after 48 hours
• Orientation dates: 12/7 and 12/21
• Winter holidays: Traveler must work 2 of 3 (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). Limit of 1 day off request between 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27 for all travelers.

Eligibility Requirements

• Local candidates are not eligible. All candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility, based on driver's license address.
• Former employees of the organization's float pool (FTE or PRN) cannot work travel in another market, regardless of current or past facility, for 12 months. This policy does not apply to those who worked travel at the organization (not FTE or PRN).
