Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Newport News, Virginia
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
36 hours per week
MS/tele float pool
Locals allowed at the same rate
Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network or American Safety and Health Institute
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network or American Safety and Health Institute
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred

COVID vaccine series preferred only

Additional Notes

Assignment is based in an MS/tele float pool
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
Confidentiality agreement required
Scrub colors, safety brochure, dress code policy, drug-free policy, hand washing hygiene policy, fingernail guidelines, and TB-related documents must be reviewed or completed before start
