- Patient ratio: 1:6 on day and night shifts
- Floating: First to float to ortho or telemetry, depending on competencies
- Schedule: Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Telemetry (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Basic Dysrhythmia
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- IV start skills
Work Environment
- Equipment: Dynamap (WelchAllyn), telemetry with screen at the nurses station, Alaris IV pumps
- Documentation system: Meditech
Patient Care Expectations
- Bedside shift report
- Hourly safety rounds
- AIDET
- Personal connection with patients
Additional Notes
- No procedures requiring conscious sedation
- Required uniform: charcoal gray top and bottom scrubs
