Job Summary

Telemetry Evanston, IL. The position provides nursing care for inpatient Medical-Surgical and Telemetry admissions in an intensive care unit setting. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, supporting clinical needs across related units, and participating in scheduled weekend and holiday coverage.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, or Neurology experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; passing electrocardiogram (EKG) test; an Illinois nursing license or temporary Illinois license while the permanent license application is in process with proof of submission.
Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The assignment supports inpatient Medical-Surgical and Telemetry admissions in an intensive care unit. Floating may include Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and other related units. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, and holiday coverage is provided as needed. The assignment is expected to last 1014 weeks.
