We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team in the operating room. As a vital member of the surgical team, you will assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is available and functional.
• Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients before surgical procedures.
• Provide assistance during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and other surgical supplies to the surgical team.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team to anticipate needs during procedures.

Shift Information

This position requires a shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with responsibilities at multiple locations within the region. A 30-minute response time is necessary for required shifts.

Weekend and On-Call Requirements

Weekend shifts are required, and you should be available for on-call duties, which may include up to 10 shifts each month.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) is required.
• Preferred experience in Orthopedic, OB-GYN, and General surgical procedures.
• Current certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
