📍 Location: Please confirm with the facility
🏥 Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
🕒 Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
📅 Possible Start Dates: November 9 or November 16

Job Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU RN to provide patient care in a small, 3-bed ICU with a generally low-acuity patient population. Strong Stepdown/PCU or Medical-Surgical experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with critical and acute medical conditions.
• Monitor and care for patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), respiratory distress, and atrial fibrillation (AFib).
• Support patient care needs in the ICU and potentially float to the Medical-Surgical unit when the ICU census is low.
• Precept and support other nurses as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using the facility’s Oracle EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• ICU, Stepdown/PCU, or strong Medical-Surgical experience.
• Critical-care experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with medication administration and managing acute patient conditions.

First-Time Travelers

First-time travelers may be considered on a tentative basis if they have the ideal clinical experience.
