Job Title: Hospital Safety & Infection Prevention Coordinator
Job Description:
Responsible for managing hospital-wide safety, infection prevention, and emergency preparedness programs. Ensures compliance with CMS regulations and state standards, conducts safety investigations, supports regulatory audits, tracks safety data, and provides staff education.
Requirements:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Public Health, Safety, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in healthcare safety, infection prevention, quality, or risk management preferred.
- Critical Access Hospital experience preferred.
- Relevant certification preferred (CIC, CHSP, CEPS, or equivalent).
- Meditech experience preferred but not required.
