Description
Our client, a healthcare provider, is looking for a Physical Therapist to start right away.
Location: Marcy, NY
Responsibilities
- Independently administer physical therapy and provide treatment services to individuals with complex therapy needs.
- Collaborate with the Director of RMU, Nursing Director, FHSD, and medical staff.
- Attend bi-weekly care conferences to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized home exercise programs and educate patients and families on continued care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed rehabilitation care practitioner.
- Valid state license in physical therapy with no exceptions.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
- Experience in acute care, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, or skilled nursing facilities.
- Strong skills in body mechanics, post-operative care, and rehabilitation for various conditions such as spinal injuries, stroke, and cognitive disorders.
