Description

MRI Tech

Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

Shift: Evening (4x10 hours), 14:00 to 00:30
Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
Working days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Off days: Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
On call: 9-week rotation, 1 week at a time (Monday to Sunday)

Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist, with experience within the last year
Certification: ARRT (MR)
Basic Life Support (BLS): Issued by American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI)
Epic: Experience with Epic

Other Information

First-time travelers are welcome.
Fit testing is completed onsite. Forms are provided in the travel portal and must be printed and brought to orientation.

Pros

Marigold is polite and professional. She goes above and beyond to ensure the contractor is well informed and has everything needed to be successful. She helped me with onboarding and getting used to the timesheet app and she answers my texts promptly, even after hours. She is a great recruiter liason. Gladys was a super helpful with onboarding and Denise will hook you up with benefits with no trouble at all. Great team to work with.

Cons

Onboarding is somewhat tedious, but they do dot every "i" and cross every T.
