Travel/Contract assignment in Roanoke, Virginia
Late November start
13-week contract
Day shift: 4x10s, 11:00–21:00
Call rotation with staff, occasional weekends and holidays
One holiday required per 13-week contract
First-time travelers accepted
No locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid Certified Surgical Technologist license in Virginia
Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NBSTSA or NCCT
Experience working with Orthopedics patients
Experience working with Neuro patients
Familiarity with total joint surgery procedures
Experience in neurosurgery
Experience with general surgery
Orthopedic Technologist experience

Preferred

Big belly, crani, and ortho trauma experience
Robotic training

Unit Details

Level I trauma OR for southwest Virginia
25 OR suites
Services include general, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, gynecology, oncology, robotic, ENT, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and sports medicine
Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, pediatrics, and geriatrics
Special equipment includes ROSA, Si and Xi daVinci robots, stealth, O-Arm, and HIPEC
