We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a Clinical Decision Unit. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, primarily with patients experiencing a range of medical conditions.

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12-hour or 4x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Floating: May be required to float to other units as necessary
• Orientation: Held every other Monday

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a clinical decision unit.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer treatments and therapies including IV starts, blood products, and oxygen therapy.
• Manage care for patients with various conditions, including cardiac issues, CHF, COPD, stroke, chest pain, and postoperative needs.
• Respond effectively to rapid response and code situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or a compact state; pending licenses accepted for submission.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Experience in cardiac telemetry and stroke/CVA care is essential.
