Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist, Speech Language Pathologist Inpatient. This outpatient position evaluates assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and physician direction. The role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support patient progression, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist; current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; one or more years of clinical experience; FEES certification.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities: Complete comprehensive patient evaluations; develop treatment plans and goals; provide individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on discharge planning, equipment trials, patient and family training, and continuing services; maintain timely and accurate medical record documentation; ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within applicable insurance approval; participate in student education when assigned; and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Additional Information: The position supports an outpatient setting and is scheduled to start on 11/16/2026. The Speech Language Pathologist is expected to follow applicable professional standards, state practice requirements, safety procedures, confidentiality guidelines, and quality-improvement initiatives.
