Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Huntington, West Virginia (393-bed hospital) Employment Type: Travel/Contract Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule
- 2-12 hour and 2-8 hour shifts
- Day shift (4x10 hours), 7:00 to 19:15
- Available shift times: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 7a-3p, 3p-11p
- Weekend shifts available
- No call
- Block scheduling not approved by the manager
- 40 hours per week
Role Details
- Role: Operating Room
- Scrub: Preferred
- Circulate: Required
- Service lines: The facility provides multiple services, including Trauma. Candidates should be able to work across areas including CVT, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Cataracts, and ENT, among others.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in West Virginia
- OR circulate experience: 1 year, including circulating experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Ability to function in CVT surgery
- Ability to function in Neurosurgery
- Ability to function in Orthopedics
- Ability to function in Cataracts
- Ability to function in ENT
Preferred
- Scrub experience
- Initial COVID-19 vaccine series (seasonal vaccine required; candidates declining it must complete a declination form)
- Signed HIPAA form (for subcontractors)
