Job Summary

Xray Technologist XRAY TECH. The Xray Technologist performs diagnostic imaging and treatment processes in accordance with applicable professional guidelines while maintaining equipment and supporting patient safety and comfort. The role also involves coordinating imaging procedures, troubleshooting equipment, and identifying opportunities for procedural improvement.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiography school; New Jersey state radiologic technologist license; ARRT certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 13 years of experience as an Xray Technologist; knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper equipment care; strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem-identification, and resolution skills.
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., including every other weekend from 9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m., with one on-call shift every three weeks; 7.5-hour shifts; minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing appropriate imaging and treatment processes, maintaining equipment, assessing procedural and patient safety, monitoring physical and physiological comfort, identifying the need for procedure revisions, and coordinating daily imaging procedures. The role requires current knowledge of clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and developments in hardware and software technology.
