DYNAMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR A STEP DOWN REGISTERED NURSE! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN for a night shift position in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role requires flexibility, as you will primarily work in a Med-Surg setting but may also float to Telemetry as needed. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 in the DOU and 1:5 in the ARU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, utilizing telemetry skills.
• Administer care for patients with pacemakers and post-cardiac procedures.
• Implement IV insulin protocols and manage insulin drips.
• Provide care for feeding tubes and perform continuous bladder irrigation (CBI).
• Oversee pre/post-hemodialysis management and access/manage ports.
• Administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines.
• Monitor and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Provide procedural sedation and monitor patients accordingly.
• Utilize isolation precautions and PPE as necessary.

Certifications Required:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIHSS
• PALS

Additional Information:

• Every other weekend is required, with a minimum of 6 weekend days per schedule period.
• Mandatory floating to ARU and DOU is expected.
