Opportunity:

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) with 15 beds
• Maintain a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Work alongside Intensivists, RTs, and other staff during night shift
• Use General CR Monitoring equipment and Meditech/CPN EMR system
• Perform IV starts and blood draws
• Assist with TPT placements
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU RN experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• CRRT experience preferred
• APHON certification preferred
• Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred
• Must work well under pressure and in a teaching hospital environment
• Strong patient care experience is a priority

Facility:

This facility is a Level II Trauma Center housing a dedicated Pediatric ICU with 15 beds and a team of 38 staff members. The unit is supported by a multidisciplinary team including Intensivists, Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Desk Technicians, Dietary staff, and Case Management professionals. The facility operates as a pediatric teaching hospital, emphasizing high-quality patient care and utilizing modern medical technology and equipment.
